They attend to my sister's needs, and she is getting good therapy. The facility is lovely; it is warm and has a good climate. We had a Thanksgiving dinner there, and the food was great.
Liberty Heights in Colorado Springs - Nursing Home
It would be very difficult to meet up with anyone that didnt live here because its too difficult to navigate. My Grandma is staying here while she recovers from a fall and an illness. The staff is so kind and answered all my questions. The building is a bit dated, but I would give up all the new technology if it means she gets someone who we can trust to take care of her.
I came here as an agency cna and loved it so much I applied to work here. I also put my mom here for rehab I highly recommend this place. We are paid by our participating communities, therefore our service is offered at no charge to families. Give more details to improve the helpfulness of your review.

They have bingo, exercise classes, trips, etc. I liked Liberty Heights quite a bit more. I liked what they had there and the way they are structured. They have covered parking and none of the others really had that.

Summary Liberty Heights
Everyone that we have dealt with there has been very efficient, professional, thorough, and everything has been good. She got a television in her room, windows, and she is comfortable with the bed that she has. The room is kind of what you would expect in a skilled nursing facility. It has oxygen in it and it's perfectly adequate. We have lived at Liberty Heights for 8 years.

Liberty Heights is a nursing homes facility located in Colorado Springs, CO. Liberty Heights is very large, but what I liked about it is that it had sensory laser detectors in the rooms. It’s a gated community and was very nice.

Residents are encouraged to participate in as many pursuits and outings as they like, appropriate to their ability. No matter what, everyone is treated as an individual person with unique needs. My mother-in-law will be moving into Liberty Heights. She liked the staff to residents ratio, and they seemed to have a lot of activities that she was interested in. The dining area seemed nice, and the facility was well cared for.

We have art classes, card games, and exercise classes. They have a happy hour on Friday nights with live entertainment and dancing. They have outdoor excursions and bus trips to various places. You get breakfast, and you can choose your main meal to be lunch or dinner. They're in the process of doing a lot of remodeling. The layout is good because you have an attached garage.

We actually knew one of the nurses there. The gentleman that gave us the tour was very professional, and the rest of the staff was very nice and interactive as well. They had a lot of retired military there which was nice too. Liberty Heights felt more like a country club than an old folks' home, and we just felt like that would boost my father-in-law's spirit more.
