Liberty Heights is a nursing homes facility located in Colorado Springs, CO. Liberty Heights is very large, but what I liked about it is that it had sensory laser detectors in the rooms. It’s a gated community and was very nice.
The staff seemed to be very good and the food was good. The staff at Liberty Heights is very patient and caring. My mother’s room is very clean and adequate. They have cooking activities and activities on Valentine’s Day. Our daily calendar is thoughtfully designed with resident enjoyment in mind. We ensure that our residents have round the clock care, should they ever need it through our 24-hour emergency call response.
We have art classes, card games, and exercise classes. They have a happy hour on Friday nights with live entertainment and dancing. They have outdoor excursions and bus trips to various places. You get breakfast, and you can choose your main meal to be lunch or dinner. They're in the process of doing a lot of remodeling. The layout is good because you have an attached garage.
The staff was very helpful, very informative, and very pleasant to speak with. We were able to look over their menus, and the food options were really great. Their security was top of the line and far more secure. It was maybe 25 minutes, but it was very easy to get to. Their apartments are right across from where their garages are so the residents are able to just literally walk across the hall and get into their garage so very convenient.

We have visited twice while making up our minds as to where we will move next year when we sell our mountain home. We were very impressed with the facility and the independent living arrangements. We have also explored several other Colorado Springs options but this place was the best in our opinion. Loved some of my coworkers in memory care management was very poorly handled.

My mother-in-law will be moving into Liberty Heights. She liked the staff to residents ratio, and they seemed to have a lot of activities that she was interested in. The dining area seemed nice, and the facility was well cared for.
We have art classes, card games, and exercise classes. They have a happy hour on Friday nights with live entertainment and dancing. They have outdoor excursions and bus trips to various places. You get breakfast, and you can choose your main meal to be lunch or dinner. They're in the process of doing a lot of remodeling. The layout is good because you have an attached garage.
We actually knew one of the nurses there. The gentleman that gave us the tour was very professional, and the rest of the staff was very nice and interactive as well. They had a lot of retired military there which was nice too. Liberty Heights felt more like a country club than an old folks' home, and we just felt like that would boost my father-in-law's spirit more.

The staff was very helpful, very informative, and very pleasant to speak with. We were able to look over their menus, and the food options were really great. Their security was top of the line and far more secure. It was maybe 25 minutes, but it was very easy to get to. Their apartments are right across from where their garages are so the residents are able to just literally walk across the hall and get into their garage so very convenient.

It is really nice, and although it cost a little bit of an upgrade, it's not bad. In the memory care unit, they can bring their own furniture so they have familiar things around them. It is like a gated community for retirees with different levels of caring. E a loved one who needs help with most daily needs this is definitely not the place for them. Our loved one had 3 falls in the first and only week here. This care center deserves a 1 rating at best.
Our father had short stay at Liberty Heights prior to his passing, but during his time we were impressed both by the level of care and the kindness of the staff.
